Transitional/Prelim Year Program Director Event
Wednesday, August 19th, 2015
MS 326 lecture hall
As residency application season approaches, we know that many students will have questions about the transitional and prelim years, including those applying to anesthesiology, neurology, radiology, dermatology, and ophthalmology. Once again this year, the Anesthesiology Student Interest Group has gathered several of the program directors around the state to speak to students interested in learning more about these programs. They'll discuss what a transitional/prelim program is, how to tailor your application to these programs, offer tips for interviewing, and much more. We'll also have a Q&A session for any questions you might have.

ASIG - Q&A with MS4 Panel
Monday, February 2nd, 2015
MS 326 lecture hall
The Anesthesia Student Interest Group hosted a Q&A with a panel of current fourth year students who are applying for residencies in anesthesiology. Questions are intended to elucidate the transition from second to third year, third year to fourth year, and fourth year to residency! Dr. Nakata will be in attendance to answer questions from a residency director's point of view. This event is not limited to those intending a career in anesthesia. All medical students are welcome to attend, as much of the advice is likely to be universal. Please join us to learn more about planning your fourth year and the residency application process, as well as any questions you may have regarding second year or moving forward into third year clerkships!
Email our board members on how to become a part of ASIG or to participate in one of our upcoming events.
